The town was decorated with flags along Route 116 today through the village center with help from our friends at Waitsfield-Champlain Valley Telecom and the Starksboro Fire Dept Auxiliary.

The Cota Recreation Field and area is a treasured asset for the Town of Starksboro and we encourage residents to enjoy the nature trail and access to Lewis Creek. If you are interested in reserving the pavilion for a private gathering, please contact Amy at the Town Clerk's office. She can provide details on use of the space and ensure availability.

Residents and taxpayers will be able to complete a variety of transactions with the Town Clerk's office to pay for dog licenses, recording fees, zoning fees, property taxes, and more. Property tax bills are mailed at the end of summer. If you need information about your current tax bill, please call the town office so we may assist you.
Property taxes are due in full no later than 4:30 p.m. on November 1, 2021. Postmarks are not accepted.

The Starksboro Town Clerk is seeking an outgoing, organized individual who is interested in municipal government and the administrative responsibilities of the town clerk's office. Duties will include recording, filing, answering questions from town residents, and assisting in the operation of the Town Clerk's office.
