The Town of Starksboro is searching for a full-time Road Crew Foreman. Under the direction of the Selectboard this position is a working supervisor role that plans and oversees all municipal highway operations in order to advance the safe and effective functioning of the highway department, including municipal construction projects and maintenance of municipal roads, sidewalks, vehicles, and equipment. THANK YOU to everyone who came out on Saturday to eat some sugar on snow and visit with neighbors. The Meetinghouse was packed with vendors and people throughout the area representing local organizations, nonprofits, and municipal boards and committees.

The Selectboard decided that the Gazette will be published
quarterly, effective immediately. You can expect issues for January,
April, July, and October. You can also fìnd events posted on our town
website (www.starksborovt.org), Facebook, and Front Porch Forum.

Dog licensing for 2019 starts now!

The 2019 dog tags are in! You can license your dog(s) any time now. The deadline is on or before April 1, per State law. 

Fees: spayed/neutered = $9 and $13 unsprayed/unneutered

A valid rabies certificate is required. We will be hosting our annual RABIES CLINIC in mid-March for those dogs and cats that are due for a rabies vaccination. This can be done by mail or in the Starksboro Town Office.
