The role of the Planning Commission is to provide long-term perspective on community planning matters. Their efforts include public outreach and gathering feedback through holding public hearings and forums, conducting surveys, and educating the community about future planning issues related to Starksboro.

Bylaw Amendments 2019-2020

The PC recommended a series of editorial and clarifying changes to the existing Land Use and Development Regulations a.k.a. the Bylaws. The PC held a public hearing on October 17, 2019. The Selectboard held a 2nd public hearing on December 17, 2019. The Selectboard approved the amended bylaws on Jan. 7, 2020.
